KRICKET FORSTER

Kricket has been dancing since the age of 5 and spent the following 13 years training and competing in various large scale comps. The most notable achievements at such comps included 3rd place in Australia’s Showcase Nationals “Dancer of the Year” and Runner Up in USA National Tournament “International Queen of Dance”.

Finding her panache for teaching very early, 2016 marks her 15th year teaching dance! Being trained in Queensland, she eventually found herself teaching and choreographing for reputable dance studios all over the state before relocating to Melbourne, where she continues to share her love for both.

Kricket more recently teamed up with Winston Morrison of Melbourne Tap Dance and has performed in numerous festivals and exciting venues as a part of his performance crew. In June 2014 the pair also presented a premiere of their original tap dance musical BEACON, for which Kricket was both playwright and co-star.

In 2015 she joined forces with 3 other high class tap dancers and became a founding member of Melbourne’s premier all girl tap group - FootNotes. Together this group is creating and performing contemporary tap pieces to inspire a new generation of dancers.

Kricket’s passion for performing can be easily seen through her stage and YouTube appearances. Her self-produced dance videos aptly portray her charisma and natural feeling dance style. This is ultimately a reflection of her love to share and engage both audiences and students far and wide.
